Ari shared their journey of recovery from sex and love addiction and codependency, celebrating 500 days of sobriety. They recounted hitting bottom, leaving a marriage for a qualifier who cheated, and experiencing a recent Hepatitis C scare that served as a profound reminder of the long-term consequences of their disease, even in sobriety. Through actively working the program, engaging in service and sponsorship, and establishing crucial boundaries, Ari has successfully regained important relationships, significantly improved their mental and physical health, and found a deep sense of serenity.
